YG & DJ Mustard vs. Mistah F.A.B.

Sunday night, at The Mezzanine in San Francisco, #YoungCalifornia held a Summer Jam After-Party featuring IAMSU! & DJ Mustard. Upon leaving Summer Jam at Oracle Arena in Oakland, both acts hit the stage to a sold out house at The Mezzanine. As mentioned by IAMSU! in his tweets: “Everybody come to the mezzanine in the city tonight!”. Most of the famed HBK Gang was in attendance, and a whole lot of support.

Also included in “everybody”–besides myself–was Bay Area icon Mistah F.A.B., who recently took shots at DJ Mustard, claiming that he stole the Bay Area sound, and exploited it.

Later, Mr. Muzzardonabeathoe went on the Breakfast Club in New York and stated, “I don’t speak to [Mistah F.A.B.]…It’s not no beef. It’s just the simple fact that when you come up here, don’t say my name talking about I ‘steal this’,I ‘steal that’ when you just did a beat. Why am I stealin? If it’s so easy, then why don’t you make these beats, then? ‘Cause if you check these charts right now, the charts ain’t lyin’.”

The second I walked in the door of the Mezzanine, DJ Amen was on the mic bringin’ out Mustard, when the music cut off out of the blue and he had to begin calling security to “clear out the backstage”. The long curtains jerked back and forth, as hands were seen flying, and members of Mustard’s camp went running back to jump in. Later, as I looked to see what happened, I began reading tweets that demeaned Fabby, saying that he was a “b*tch” for goin’ at Mustard.

Later that night, and all day Monday, Mistah F.A.B., DJ Mustard, and YG all made posts in an attempt to dispel the rumors, but as more surfaced about the altercation, those attempts fell on dead ears. Peep the videos in the link below, and let us know what you think happened.
